- Check in
- All teams must check-in no later than 30 minutes before their scheduled game time. Booth will be setup on Friday from 7 am until 9 am. Please have a representative to that booth within those hours.
- Idaho Falls tournaments will be Community Park for check in
- Twin Falls tournaments will be Oregon Trail Youth Complex for check in
- Official roster must be turned in prior to teams first game, and if any pickup players are on roster we have to see their USA player's card to verify they are certified or a pickup form signed by your commissioner.
- Once you begin the tournament--you cannot add any player, pick-up players or make changes afterwards.
- No player(s) can be on more than one roster in the same division. A player cannot be on more than one roster and play back and forth in two different divisions.
- 16/18U means any player allowed within both age groups as classified by USA standards.

- Divisions and Pools
- If 16/18 is split they will be put into the new division that was selected upon registering. If split 16U will be modified to allow for 2 players 18 and under. 18U will be a normal 18U division
- If tournament is done in a pod format, all pods will be selected randomly by a computer program and games will be randomized as well.
- When in pod play, they will usually be in pods of 3, 4 or 6 depending on division size
- Pool Play
- USA rules will be in effect with some modification
- High School and USA Pitching are both allowed, but applies to pitching position only
- Home team will be the official book for the umpire. Both teams still submit scores to the director.
- Coin toss will happen at game time.
- If you are not present, coin toss will take place without you.
- Line ups need to be exchanged between scorekeepers ten minutes before each game.
- No new inning after 55 min.
- Pitchers will receive 5 warm ups the first inning, 3 every inning thereafter. A new pitcher checking into the game will receive 5 warm up.
- Pool Play can end in a tie.
- Run ahead rule will apply: 15 run after 3rd inning, 12 runs after 4th inning, and 8 runs after 5th inning.
- During pool play you will be able to bat your entire roster with open substitution.
- If the prior game is done early and the field is prepared game time may start as early as 15 min ahead of schedule so please be in the facility.
- Seeding of pool play:
- First by Win/Loss
- Then by head to head
- Then by run differential (Runs scored-Runs scored against=Differential)
- Then by total runs scored against
- Then by total runs scored
- Then by coins toss if all preceding requirements are equal
- Tournament Play
- USA rules will be in effect with some modification.
- Pitchers can pitch either High School or USA.
- Home team will be the official score keeper.
- During Tournament play the home team will be determined by the higher seed, if you have back to back games on the same field, you will stay in your dugout. If both teams share the same seed from different pools a coin flip will determine home team.
- Pitchers will receive 5 warm ups the first inning, 3 every inning thereafter. A new pitcher checking into the game will receive 5 warm up.
- No new innings will start after one hour and fifteen min (75min)
- Run ahead rule will apply: 15 run after 3rd inning, 12 after 4th inning and 8 after 5th inning. USA tiebreaker rule will go into effect when the 75-minute time limit or seven (7) innings have expired.
- Home Team will receive the 3rd base dugout.
- Teams are allowed to bat entire lineup with open substitution as long as both teams agree, if one doesn't then it will be USA standard rules.
- If the prior game is done early and the field is prepared game time may start as early as 15 min ahead of schedule so please be in the facility
- Championship Game
- The Home team will be the undefeated team.
- Championship game will last seven (7) innings.
- The home team will be the official book for that game.
- Home Team will receive the 3rd base dugout, unless teams decide otherwise
- In the occurrence of the losing bracket champion beating the winning bracket champion, there will be an "if needed" game to decide on the final champion of the tournament. In this occurrence we will revert to no new inning after 75 minutes and the home team will be the team that just won, which will be reverse of the prior home/away team setup.
- Dugouts/Sportsmanship
- USA dugout conduct will apply.
- If foul language is used, it could cause ejection from the game with no refund
- Only team members and coaching staff are allowed in the dugout area.
- Any team player, coach or fan who displays any improper conduct will subject themselves and/or team to forfeit the game or be objected from the tournament with no team refund.
- Any team caught cheating which includes playing illegal players, changing rosters or any other form of cheating will be dismissed from the tournament with no refund, no matter the number of games played. This is the coaches responsibility to play fair and follow the rules.
- Infield
- Infield practice is NOT allowed on the playing field
- Adjacent areas can be used for warming up
- Players
- Please hurry players on & off the field so we can get as much playing time as possible and games can be moved along quickly.
- ALL players must show proper conduct, there are younger players at the tournament that watch and look up to the older girls.
- Game Time
- Coaches are responsible to check for game times and/or change to the schedule due to weather, and or late games. If weather prohibits games from being played, we reserve the right to postpone games
- Game time is your time, if late on the field game time will start.
- Tournaments start as early as 7:30 a.m. We can try and accommodate teams but no preference or guarantee is made on start time.
- Tournament Director/ Official Umpire
- See USA rule book for official ruling.
- The tournament director and head Umpire have the right to make a ruling not covered herein, to be determining in the best interest of the tournament, players, coaches and fans.
- Weather Cancellation and Refund Policy
- If tournament is completely cancelled, please be aware that $50 of the entry fee will not be refunded due to administrative costs.
- If 2 games are played, then half of the entry fee will refunded.
- If 3 or more games are played, then no refund will be given.
- If ejected due to sportsmanship like conduct No Refund will be given
- No refund will be given to teams that don't complete USA certification in time for the tournament
- No refund will be given if team drops after deadline date, which is 1 week prior to the tournament. If they drop out sooner they will receive a full minus $50 admin fee.
- 10U Differences
- No Drop 3rd strike rule shall apply.
- 10 Runs per team per inning, more than 10 runs may occur if bases have enough players to come in once a ball is hit. For example, bases are loaded and a team has 9 runs, the batter hits a home run, this team would get 13 runs in the inning .
- Championship game, no new inning after 90 minutes
- Tourney Machine
- Tourney machine will be the official schedule, including scoring, bracketing and ranking.
- It is the coaches responsibility to verify that they or someone on their team is able to functionally use Tourney Machine and verify their scheduled games.
